One of the most mysterious and unusual places in Uzbekistan is located 50 kilometers from the city of Samarkand and 3 kilometers from the town of Urgut.
Plane garden "Chor Chinor" (translated from Farsi and Tajik means four plane trees).
This unusual place is remarkable for its magnificent plane trees, which are 600 years old, and the most ancient ones have been growing here for over 1000 years. Trees in coverage reach 16 meters. Many trees have tablets indicating their approximate age, and each of them keeps its own secret.
The highlight of the garden and a real "miracle of nature" is one large and amazing plane tree, inside which there is a huge hollow and a functioning museum is also located there. Once the hollow of this plane tree served as a refuge for members of the Sufi school, pupils gathered here - at the same time they could accommodate up to forty people, as evidenced by old photographs.

Everyone who steps outside the garden gate is immersed in a magical atmosphere of peace and harmony. The fresh coolness of the trees and a walk along the paths along the alley with centuries-old plane trees charge you with its special healing energy. That is why Chor-Chinor is revered as a holy place. There is a small mosque with a blue dome, built at the beginning of the 20th century. There is a memorial pavilion near the mosque. Thousands of pilgrims come here to pray from all over the country, regardless of their religion. For those who came here, this place is more than a garden - it is a place for meditation, calming the soul, rest, fulfilling desires and relieving mental pain.
According to legend, when the first trees were planted, a spring with clean and cool water came out here. People consider the spring to be a holy source, and the water from the spring is healing, and many take water with them. At the point where the water emerges, there is a stone resembling a millstone in outline. The spring spilled out to the size of a picturesque pond, where locals and tourists come to retire and relax.
Come to this amazing tree garden.
