The history of the village of Chadak, located in the Pap district of the Namangan region, is more than 4,000 years old.
A distinctive feature of this region is the presence of a large number of springs ...
Therefore, it is no coincidence that in ancient times military roads passed here, allowing to unload caravan routes and allowing you not to take more water supplies with you. They say that Alexander the Great passed here, intending to reach Shash (Tashkent). And, apparently, there was one of the largest centers of the Kushan kingdom. One of the sights of Chadak and a place of pilgrimage is the Weeping Rock.
This mountain formation, at the top of which is a snowfield, is essentially an underground stream. Breaking in the rock, it flows down the rock in thin streams.
The rock is overgrown with moss and aquatic plants, the water flows like tears. Legend has it that the waterfall is a girl separated from her lover, who has turned into a lonely tree growing above. And for hundreds of centuries, lovers mourn their separation.
An interesting fact is that this water never freezes, and a tree with foliage all year round ...
Come and enjoy the amazing waterfall !!!
