Karakiyasay originates from numerous tributaries of the Minbulak mountain, which is located at an altitude of 2823 m above sea level.
The word Mingbulak means “one thousand springs”. In the upper reaches of the Karakiyasay there are natural monuments - petroglyphs - rock paintings. Even higher there are places "Kul", where a whole gallery of ancient artists is spread out. The history of a person's stay in these places is clearly visible here.
Karakiyasay resembles neighboring Kyzylsu in its views, although, by and large, each of them has its own unforgettable places. First of all, these are waterfalls. On the sai there is a series of picturesque waterfalls located in a narrow gorge. One waterfall is located in the upper reaches of the river - on one of the "thousand springs". It is worth seeing the unusual Tavaksaya waterfalls. There is also a small waterfall at Aktashsay, Kyrkizsay, Azadbashsay, Uzunsay. A person approaches more and more the habitats of wild animals, and they, in turn, move to higher and deaf places. In winter, however, many of them go down, where less severe conditions support their existence.
In general, magnificent places await tourists. Enjoy nature.
